On the 13th of March (1800), the annual meeting was held for town business. The same Committee was continued for examining schools. The votes for Governor were for John T. Gilman 200, for Timothy Walker 188; for Counselor, Aaron Wingate, 224; Senator, Nathan Taylor, 195. The voters for revising the Constitution of the State, were 124, against it, 124.
